All people deserve the privilege of receiving musical training. Music enriches life. It enhances our strongest emotions, and it is always there for us when we need it. No matter the age, talent, circumstance, or end-goal, everyone should experience the joy of understanding and appreciating the beauty of the timeless art of music.

Why learn classical guitar?
The principal benefit of learning classical guitar is that it focuses on the development of an ergonomic technique along with the development of an academic understanding of music. The student will develop healthy mental and physical habits of music learning which will open the doors to an easy and successful transition to or use of any other style of playing. The student will be encouraged to learn how to learn and create their own knowledge, allowing them to become an independent musician and a better pedagogue. In addition, all of these learned behaviors can transcend the practice room, thus positively enhancing other aspects of the student's life.
Experience
Carlos has gathered extensive teaching experience through his appointments as Adjunct Professor of Guitar at Bethel University, Assistant Instructor of guitar at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, and as guitar faculty at the Northern Lights Music Festival in Minnesota.
